SoloHope (Spanglish for "Only Hope") exists to renew hope for those living in extreme poverty by providing empowerment through intentional trade and education. Currently, their products are created by their artisan partners in rural Honduras from resources readily available to them such as pine needles and thread. It is SoloHope's privilege to share products with the world that are not only beautiful but life changing to the hands that made them.

The Good Factor: SoloHope was founded by Emilee Connell after years of travelling to Honduras on short-term and extended missions and learning the challenges and struggles women living in poverty faced. She hoped to offer empowerment and hope through creating jobs for women giving them the ability to overcome poverty and leave a legacy of hope for generations to come. SoloHope has plans to expand to other areas in Honduras as well as other nations in the future.

Because of SoloHope, I’m reminded that women need to be empowered in Honduras and to be given opportunities. So happy we can support the work they’re doing! And their goods are beautiful!

Who knew pine needles and thread could be so beautiful? The quality of these pieces is really gorgeous and I love how they’re using simple, native materials to tell their story.
